This study aims to determine individual counseling services with a reality therapy approach to overcome low student motivation. The type of research used is qualitative research, with a purposive sampling technique. The research subjects were the principal, counseling teacher, homeroom teacher and 3 students based on recommendations from the homeroom teacher for class XI IPS 1. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses three stages, namely: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) verification or drawing conclusions. After analyzing the data and discussing the results of the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of individual counseling services with a reality therapy approach to overcome low motivation to learn has the following results: 1) the involvement of the counselor in accepting the client's problem determines whether or not the individual counseling path is good, 2) the focus on the current behavior shown by the client after being given counseling is even better, 3) the counselee assesses or evaluates himself whether he is better or not, 4 ) the client is able to think about planning what to do in overcoming low motivation to learn, 5) the counselor/researcher is able to monitor the client's progress in carrying out the planned actions, 6) the counselor does not accept reasons/reject reasons when the client has not been able to carry out the action plan responsibly . Based on the conclusions, suggestions can be drawn: BK teachers, homeroom teachers and school principals continue to coordinate well in efforts to overcome student problems,
