Description:
This course is designed to develop students as readers and writers. They will explore fantasy, realistic fiction, informational text, historical fiction, poetry, digital content, and mystery. Students learn from multiple texts and communicate their learning through well-crafted sentences, paragraphs, and essays. Students will write various 5-paragraph essays, including informative, narrative, and persuasive. Developing vocabulary and language skills will assist students growth as readers and writers.

FROM THE TEACHER
Are you ready for adventure? Language Arts 7 will take us from Middle Earth to the middle of the ocean. We will explore our longing for home, refuge, connection, and belonging through fiction and informational text and dive into historical fiction and mystery as well. We will become confident communicators as we strengthen our speaking and writing skills. Join the journey!
