Opioid Addiction Essay

There are many individuals of different ages who are addicted to the use of Opioid. This addiction has led to many deaths caused by overdose especially among teenagers and young adults. In this regard, the number of deaths caused by opioid overdose have grown significantly leading to this addiction being a major problem in The United States and globally. People overlook the danger posed by using drugs especially opioids, which can be easily accessed. There is a growing number of individuals who are not able to contain their need to use opioids. Therefore, opioid addicted individuals who were once a minority are now growing into a large group. Thus, the involved parties need to come up with new effective measure to contain the use of opioid to prevent more deaths. This paper will cover opioid medication, its side effects, and how it leads to addiction.
